Sunday, August 5th, 2007Paris, France
Sunday, August 5th, 2007Notoriouslly known around the world as a dirty city, I must say this was not the case this time around! When I was in Paris in 1995, yes, it was filthy. But this time, there were sanitation workers everywhere that swept the streets and sidewalks constantly, and it was so beautiful. I think I fell in love with Paris this time around, and it was the one place I was really NOT looking foward to going on this tour.
One of the hightlights of my 12 day trip was going to the top of the Eiffel Tower. We just so happened to be up there for the sunset too, so it was absolutely gorgeous. We also took a river trip down the Seine River. It was narrated and just beautiful, especially when nightfall came.
London, England
Sunday, August 5th, 2007Despite being delayed for 3 hours on the overnight flight, and the torrential downpours during our stay, and the Tube being shut down due to flooding, I brought back some great memories from London.
One night in a pub, I had some of the best white cheddar stuffed mushrooms I have ever sunk my teeth into. They were so awesome. I also will never forget DiBiase on that night on the train…that’s all I’ll say about that. Being out late the last night provided some excellent photo opportunities.
